Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Guiyang Arrival
Airport/train station pickup, transfer to hotel. Free time to explore Guiyang – try local sour & spicy Guizhou cuisine (recommended: Erqi Road snack street, Shanxi Road night market).

Day 2 – Guiyang to Huangguoshu Waterfall
Drive ~2h to the 5A Huangguoshu Scenic Area: Huangguoshu Grand Waterfall, Tianxingqiao and Doupotang Falls. Then drive ~4h to Libo.

Day 3 – Libo Xiaoqikong to Xijiang Miao Village
Morning: the breathtaking karst pools and bridges of Xiaoqikong. Afternoon: drive 2.5h to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the world’s largest Miao settlement, and enjoy the night view of thousands of stilt houses.

Day 4 – Xijiang to Zhenyuan Ancient Town
Morning stroll through Xijiang’s countryside lanes and morning mist. Drive ~2h to Zhenyuan Ancient Town – a Ming-dynasty town on the Wuyang River laid out like a tai chi symbol.

Day 5 – Zhenyuan to Fanjingshan, back to Guiyang
Drive ~2h to Fanjingshan (UNESCO World Heritage): take the cable car, hike to the Mushroom Rock and the Red Cloud Golden Summit (2493m). Drive ~4h back to Guiyang.
Note: if Fanjingshan is closed due to weather, an alternative nearby scenic spot will be arranged.

Day 6 – Qingyan Ancient Town & Departure
Drive ~1h to Qingyan Ancient Town (gift visit) – a Ming-dynasty fortress town with stone walls and four gates. Then transfer to Guiyang airport/train station for departure.
