Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Chengdu
Airport pickup and transfer to your 4-star hotel. Evening: welcome Sichuan hotpot dinner (mild broth available).
Day 2 – Giant Panda Breeding Base
Early start to see pandas at breakfast — their most active time. Walk the bamboo forests to see adult pandas, red pandas and the nursery. Afternoon: Jinli Ancient Street for snacks and souvenirs. Evening: optional Sichuan Opera face-changing show.
Day 3 – Kuanzhai Alley & People’s Park
Morning: Kuanzhai Alley — three restored Qing dynasty streets with teahouses and street food. Afternoon: People’s Park for a traditional bamboo-chair tea ceremony, the way locals have relaxed for centuries.
Day 4 – Leshan Giant Buddha (optional day trip)
Full-day trip to Leshan to see the 71-meter Giant Buddha carved into the cliff — the largest stone Buddha in the world. Cruise the river for the classic view, then climb the stairs for a closer look. Return to Chengdu in the evening.
Day 5 – Departure
Free morning for panda souvenirs, then airport transfer. Extendable to Jiuzhaigou, Xi’an or Yunnan.
