Yes — it covers the river, Yangshuo and the terraces. 3 days works if you skip Longji.

What is the best way to travel from Guilin to Yangshuo?

The Li River cruise (4 hours) is the classic scenic option; a private car takes 90 minutes.

Is the Longji Rice Terraces worth the trip?

Absolutely — it’s one of China’s most spectacular landscapes, especially at sunrise.

Can I do Guilin without a guide?

Yes, but a guide handles the cruise tickets, Longji transport and local food stops seamlessly.

What time of year is best for this itinerary?

April-May (green) or September-October (golden terraces).
