Greater Bay Area Tour: The Ultimate 8-Day Itinerary
The Greater Bay Area is China’s most dynamic region — old Cantonese food streets, futuristic skylines, and the world’s longest sea bridge. Here’s an 8-day itinerary covering the essentials: Guangzhou, Foshan, Shunde, Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
Why the Greater Bay Area?
- Guangzhou — dim sum capital, old Lingnan culture
- Shunde — UNESCO City of Gastronomy
- Foshan — martial arts heritage (Bruce Lee, Ip Man)
- Shenzhen — China’s tech capital, 1,700-year-old Nantou
- Zhuhai — relaxed coastal city, gateway to Macau
